ABA BEHAVIORAL THERAPY-EARLY INTERVENTION.

CHTServices, Inc (CHTS),is an agency approved by The Department of Health (DOH) to provide therapeutic community based services to infants and young children with special needs between the ages of birth to three y/o. CHTS is currently seeking ABA therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, special education teachers, psychologists, nurses and social workers to join our team.

General Job Description:

As an early intervention therapist, your primary goal will be to utilize principles of behavior analysis in order to teach/instruct young learners in behavioral and cognitive development. This will include advanced teaching and experiential learning, incidental teaching techniques, discrete trial techniques, and some basic conceptual understanding of verbal behavior. You will work very closely with supervisors, who will design programs that allow your clients to succeed to the highest possible level.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Special Education Teachers,(Certified in Birth-Grade 2)- Initial or permanent.
  • Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH)- Provisional or Permanent.
  • Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)- Initial or Professional.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
  • Social Workers (LMSW) or (LCSW).
  • Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Occupational Therapist
  • Physical Therapist
  • Registered Nurse
  • Certified School Psychologist
  • Licensed School Psychologist
  • Bilingual a plus but not required
  • Must have:

  • NYS License
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Be efficient, organized, and able to write detailed reports.
  • Willingness to meet with families in their homes or community.
  • Willingness to provide per-diem work
